Gutierrez Arturo Perez-Reverte (Cartagena, November 25, 1951) is a Spanish writer and journalist, member of the Royal Spanish Academy since 2003. Former correspondent of RTVE and highlighted in various armed conflicts and war reporter, is the author of the saga the Adventures of Captain Alatriste.
